Source of Hope Supports JUANFE

​Stephen Robert, a financial industry expert, formerly served as the chairman and CEO of Oppenheimer Group Inc. in New York. However, driven by his philanthropic passion, he eventually transitioned to focusing solely on his charitable endeavors. Stephen Robert assists nonprofits worldwide through the Source of Hope Foundation, including the Juan Felipe Gomez Escobar Foundation (JUANFE).

Source of Hope supports the Juan Felipe Gomez Escobar Foundation (JUANFE), founded on a mission to promote healthy child development in Cartagena, Columbia. Teenage mothers in marginalized regions experiencing poor living conditions are frequent in Cartagena, hence the need for a program that makes life better for this population. JUANFE steps in to satisfy these needs.

JUANFE aims to enhance the well-being of children aged two and under, along with their adolescent mothers, in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. Operating under a commitment to uphold human dignity, the Juan Felipe Gómez Escobar Foundation prioritizes preventive measures and promotes the adoption of healthy lifestyle choices through the Juan Felipe IPS Medical Center. JUANFE also provides vocational training to beneficiaries.

With donations from Source of Hope, JUANFE has expanded its program to promote early childhood healthcare and mitigate the infant mortality rate in Cartagena. Thousands of expectant mothers and babies receive free comprehensive care at Juan Felipe IPS Medical Center.
